ESG Assessment
An ESG Assessment is a collection of information on the risks and opportunities that affect a company with respect to the people it comes into contact with and who are involved in its activities (S for Social), the environmental context in which it operates (E for Environment), and the ways in which it is governed and managed (G for Governance).
This snapshot allows companies to have a clear vision of their performance and to identify concrete strategies to further enhance their positive impact in these three areas.
Measure what is measurable and make measurable what is not.

ESG Assessment according to Sapiens
“Analysis to measure the impacts generated and the company’s exposure to environmental, social and governance risk factors and opportunities”.
“Collection of information necessary for owners, partners and financiers to understand if and where the company is exposed to risks that can generate unexpected costs in the medium-long term, or, on the contrary, if it has competitive requirements that will produce value”.
Questionnaire
The main objective of our Questionnaire is to collect accurate and transparent data to assess and communicate corporate sustainability performance, and to return timely and verifiable information to interested shareholders.
Our team will support the customer in completing the Questionnaire, to promote understanding of the requests by facilitating the coordination of information collection activities.
Benchmark, market and positioning analysis
It is an analysis process that focuses on comparing a company’s sustainability performance to both its competitors and industry and market trends. It is necessary to understand how the company is positioned in relation to both in terms of sustainability.
Value analysis and resilience factors
Our evaluation model includes:
1) an analysis of the externalities of organizations, that is, the internal and external impacts generated involuntarily, which can increase or compromise their value.
2) an analysis of resilience factors, i.e. those elements that contribute to the company’s ability to adapt and face environmental, social or geopolitical challenges and changes.
Training
In support of the ESG Assessment we also offer the training module “What is sustainability”, with the aim of providing an initial orientation to sustainability issues, incentivizing and motivating management towards a proactive strategic approach to sustainability.
Improvement plan
At the end of the Assessment process, we share with the company an improvement path, a roadmap that identifies short, medium and long-term objectives, priority actions and strategic perspectives with respect to the most urgent issues.

Why do an ESG Assessment with Sapiens
The goal of our ESG Assessment is to induce the company to truly include social and environmental assessments and actions in its strategy.
We want to be the compass for the company to orient itself in the sea of value opportunities that sustainability offers.
We are partners of banks to support their clients in compiling ESG Assessments and planning their development towards sustainability.
We carry out our ESG Assessments for the pre-acquisition evaluation of target companies by investment funds. We are able to develop together with the company, a roadmap for the placement of the company (ex Article 8 and 9 of the SFRD), helping to find and implement, where possible, solutions to environmental or social problems at the heart of the company strategy.
